Asaph’s “Forever Yours”: A Celebration of Love and Fatherhood

Hip-hop sensation, Tafadzwa Tarukwana popularly known as Asaph Afrika has released a heartfelt song reflecting on his personal love and fatherhood journey titled ‘Forever Yours’.

Speaking to SkyzMetro FM in an interview, Asaph said that the title of the song was directly inspired by his recent marriage and the birth of his child.

“When I wrote the verses, I was basically talking about my story, my wife and I, our baby, and how we got to this point,” Asaph explained. “The second verse was just me making my declarations, promises, and vows to my daughter and wife, speaking on the type of husband and father I want to be.”

Asaph also emphasized the song’s underlying themes of commitment and responsibility, qualities he feels are often overlooked by young people nowadays.

“This song is about embracing commitment and responsibility. I think our generation today is often afraid of those things, afraid of finding fulfillment in what truly matters, like family,” said Asaph.

Produced by Genius Prince Dube (GQ), “Forever Yours” is part of Asaph’s ambitious project to release a new song every month this year, culminating in an album celebrating his 10th anniversary in the music industry.
