President Mnangagwa Offers Warriors $150,000 Winning Bonus

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has announced a $150,000 winning bonus for each match in the Warriors’ upcoming fixtures against Benin and Nigeria.
This follows last year’s announcement that $1 million USD had been set aside by the government for the Warriors’ 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations campaign, which will take place in Morocco in December. Should the Warriors win both games, they will receive an additional $300,000 USD.
The financial backing reflects the government’s strong support for the Warriors as they prepare for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The public is urged to rally behind the team as they face Benin today at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, before traveling to Nigeria on March 25.
