India have secured a place in the semi-finals of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026 after a commanding 58-run victory over arch-rivals Pakistan at Queens Sports Club on Sunday, finishing unbeaten at the top of Group Two.

Batting first, India recovered from early setbacks to post 252 all out in 49.5 overs, before bowling Pakistan out for 194. The win completes the semi-final line-up, with India joining Australia, England and Afghanistan in the last four.

After a shaky start, Vedant Trivedi anchored the innings with a composed 68, while late contributions from Kanishk Chouhan and Khilan Patel added vital runs in the final overs. Pakistan’s Abdul Subhan impressed with the ball, taking three wickets.

In reply, Pakistan struggled to maintain the required scoring rate despite half-centuries from Usman Khan and Hamza Zahoor. India’s bowlers kept tight control, with Chouhan and skipper Ayush Mhatre leading the attack.

India will face Afghanistan in the semi-final in Harare on Wednesday, while Australia meet England at Queens Sports Club on Tuesday.
