Preparations for the 2026 Zimbabwe International Trade Fair 2026 are at an advanced stage, with organisers confirming readiness ahead of the official opening on 20 April.

ZITF Board Chairperson Busisa Moyo said the event has now moved into its final execution phase.

Exhibition space uptake has reached 97 percent, with 485 exhibitors confirmed, including strong international participation from 29 countries. Business visitor registrations have also increased to over 10,000, surpassing last year’s figures.

Moyo said participation is balanced between government and the private sector, with all exhibition halls nearly full and additional space created through a marquee to meet demand.

He added that major events such as the International Business Conference and Youth in Business Festival are ready, with President Duma Gideon Boko expected to officially open the fair.
