The South Korean Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Jae Kyung Park, on Wednesday visited Nkulumane Clinic to assess the impact of recently donated medical equipment on healthcare delivery.
The visit follows a US$110,000 donation by the Republic of South Korea to the City of Bulawayo last year, which included medical equipment and a vehicle distributed across municipal clinics to strengthen service provision.
Ambassador Park, who is in the city for the 66th edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, said the tour was meant to gain first-hand insight into how the equipment is improving access to healthcare. He added that South Korea will continue supporting Zimbabwe in health, education, and agriculture.

Health officials demonstrated how the donated vehicle is being used for outreach programmes, including the ongoing poliovirus vaccination campaign running from April 20 to 23.
Bulawayo Health, Housing and Education Committee Chairperson, Councillor Ntombizodwa Khumalo, and Director of Health Services, Dr Edwin Mzingwane, were among local officials who attended the visit and expressed appreciation for the support.
