Bulawayo Set For Day-Night Traditional Spiritual Gathering This Weekend

Traditional healer Gogo Chihoro is set to host a spiritual dance gathering in Bulawayo on Saturday, as demand for her spiritual services continues to grow.

The event will be held at the Mahatshula North shrine starting 6am in the morning and is expected to attract hundreds of people seeking spiritual guidance, cleansing and protection, according to the organisers.

Speaking to SkyzMetro FM, Gogo Chihoro’s spokesperson Sibonginkosi Maphosa said the event follows a similar overnight gathering held in May, which attracted a large turnout.

Maphosa said feedback from attendees prompted organisers to introduce a daytime programme that will extend into 1pm in the afternoon.

“We are expecting people from different provinces. Many are coming with personal challenges, family problems and issues affecting their businesses and livelihoods,” she said.

She said many attendees are seeking spiritual support during difficult times in issues related to running businesses and day to day survival.

“People are looking for solutions in difficult times. Some believe they are facing spiritual attacks, while others simply want protection, peace and breakthrough in their lives,” said Maphosa.

She further claimed that some cases involving young people affected by drug and substance abuse may have a spiritual cause and encouraged parents seeking spiritual assistance to attend the gathering.
