Zimbabwe’s fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani has been ruled out of Day 3 of the ongoing first Test match against South Africa at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.

The 29-year-old pace spearhead is reportedly unwell and did not take to the field this morning. Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed his absence and said medical staff are closely monitoring his condition.

Muzarabani, known for his height and bounce, has been a key figure in Zimbabwe’s bowling attack. His absence is a big blow to the Chevrons as they try to keep pressure on South Africa in the second innings.

Despite the setback, Zimbabwe will be hoping for strong performances from the rest of the bowling unit, including Tanaka Chivanga, who impressed earlier in the match with a four-wicket haul.

Meanwhile Zimbabwe are currently trailing South Africa by 320 runs at Queens Sports Club on Day 3 of the first test series.
