ZIFA Sets February Dates to Fill Leadership Posts

The Zimbabwe Football Association, (ZIFA), has announced new February dates to complete its 2025 elections, aiming to fill leadership positions left vacant after December’s polls.

The Electoral Committee said several posts went unfilled because eligible candidates did not come forward during the initial elections. Nominations for the vacant positions are now open at ZIFA Headquarters, with submissions closing this Saturday at 2pm.

Voting will take place at four centres which include Bulawayo, Gweru, Masvingo, and Harare, from February 13 to 16 February.

The positions to be filled cover women’s football, provincial structures, area zones, futsal, and beach soccer, as ZIFA moves to fully establish its leadership ahead of the 2026 football season.
