Zimbabwean forward Tawanda Maswanhise has been named the William Hill Premiership Player of the Month for January in Scotland following his impressive performances.
The 23-year-old Motherwell striker claims the award for the second time in three months, underlining his strong run of form in the Scottish top flight.
Speaking to the club’s website, Motherwell manager Jens Berthel Askou said Maswanhise has developed into a sharp and versatile forward who can score in different ways, adding that the recognition should further motivate him.
Also commenting on the Award, Maswanhise stated that January was a strong month for the team, despite missing matches while representing Zimbabwe at the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025.
He credited his teammates for creating chances and stating that he is focused on maintaining momentum.
Maswanhise currently leads the Scottish Premiership scoring charts with 13 goals in 21 matches, and 18 in all competitions.
