ZIFA Announces Warriors Squad Changes Ahead Of Unity Cup

The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has confirmed three changes to the Warriors squad ahead of the Unity Cup tournament in London.

Forward Tino Kadewere has been ruled out due to injury, while defender Divine Lunga misses the tournament because of club commitments following Mamelodi Sundowns’ qualification for the CAF Champions League final.

Belgium-based winger Bill Antonio has been excused from the squad after requesting leave for personal reasons.

ZIFA has called up Washington Navaya, Prosper Padera and Isheanesu Mauchi as replacements.

The squad changes come as preparations intensify for the regional tournament.

Zimbabwe will face Nigeria in the semifinals on 26 May at The Valley in London.
