The Zimbabwe Republic Police says it is on high alert and will take action against anyone inciting violence or disorder as Parliament continues deliberations on Constitutional Amendment Bill Number Three (CAB3).

In a statement issued yesterday, the police urged Zimbabweans to maintain peace and observe law and order during the ongoing debate.

ZRP said those using social media to incite violence, threaten citizens, disrupt traffic, destroy property or promote unrest will face the full force of the law.

The ZRP also called on members of the public to continue with their daily activities peacefully and report any disturbances to the police.

Constitutional Amendment Bill Number Three is currently being debated in the Parliament.
