Shammy Moyo Clears Air On Zimbabwe Return

Zimbabwean born content creator Shammy Moyo says her decision to relocate to Zimbabwe was made long before recent developments in South Africa and was not influenced by current events.

Speaking to SkyzMetro FM, Moyo said she had been living legally in South Africa and returned home as part of a plan she had made well in advance.

“I had been living legally in South Africa and had planned to come back home for a while now, this was a thought out decision which I spent months making,” she said.

She said she wanted to address speculation surrounding her return, adding that she had always travelled between South Africa and Zimbabwe before deciding to relocate permanently.

“I had always travelled between South Africa and Zimbabwe before I recently moved back here permanently,” she said.

Moyo also revealed that she is working on new content creation projects, saying creators need to keep producing fresh ideas to remain relevant. She said she will continue creating comedy and lifestyle content while based in Zimbabwe.

“I have fresh content coming up as I am working on new projects, one thing I can say to content creators is that they need to keep producing fresh ideas in order to remain relevant,” she said.

Moyo spent close to 16 years in South Africa and built a name for herself over the past few years, reaching one million followers on Facebook.
