Cowdray Park MP Aspirant Mthuli Ncube Speaks on intentions

The Minister of Finance and economic Development, Professor Mhuli Ncube has spoken on plans he has for his dream constituency of Cowdray Park in Bulawayo.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Chiefs conference Minister Ncube said that he is rearing to develop Cowdray Park should he be voted as the Legislator.
Cowdray Park High constituency is the most populas in the city with more than 70 000 residents.
Minister Ncube said , “Citizens are always in need of individuals who are willing to stop forward and assist them in their development needs . I would like to believe I am that person , I have done this for a long time trying to develop communities right across Africa from Gambia , Ethiopia , Kenya and Ghana when I worked for the African Development Bank.
I came here as Minister of Finance still on the same mission that I want to fucus on developing our nation and I would like to focus on communities such as Cowdray Park which is in dire need of development support and they have remained behind from the rest of Bulawayo. I think really we will measure how developed Bulawayo is by the extent to which Cowdray Park is in terms of development. So that gap needs to be closed developing Cowdray Park is tantamount to developing Bulawayo .”
Prof Ncube emphasized on the need for clean water supply, development of roads , employment creation, electrification and crime reduction in his aspiring constituency
It is not yet clear who Prof Ncube will lock horns with in the most intriguing primary elections to be held across the country this Saturday.
Prof Ncube submitted his papers early last week for the Cowdray Park Member of Parliament seat.
Prof Ncube joined the cabinet in 2018 as a non elected cabinet member and was later appointed by His Excellency Emmerson Mnangagwa to Minister of Finance and Economic Development .
Politburo members have been selected to monitor and lead the Zanu PF primary elections with Cde Tshinga Dube manning Bulawayo province and Cde Charles Tawengwa monitoring Harare .
