Dembare and FC Platinum 2024 PSL season preparations going according to plan

FC Platinum Chairman Dumisani Sisale says they have done almost 90 percent of their goals as preparation to the upcoming 2024 Castle Lager Premiership season.

He was speaking to the media after the PSL pre season two day worshop held over the weekend.

Sisale also confirmed that Pure Platinum play has retained most of their technical stuff which is led by Coach Norman Mapeza.

“Largely the same, Coach Norman Mapeza and his assistant Daniel Veremu, one or two additions, so not any significant changes,” said Sisale.

FC Platinum have signed six players who include former Highlanders pair Mbongeni Ndlovu and Briton Manhire, Davison Marowa from Herentals, Shepherd Mhlanga from Chicken Inn, Northern Region division one player, Bothwell Nzori and goal keeper David Bizabani as a way of adding depth to their squad.

Meanhwile, Dynamos Chairman Moses Mawunganidze also confirmed that the Harare Giants are preparing well ahead of the upcoming season where they are set to participate in continental football as a result of winning the Chibuku Super Cup last season.

“We are looking at building from what we did last year and if it means that we are going to get the first pricez all things being equal, l don’t see a reason why we should also faulted because the core team is there and we have added very good players,” said Mawunganidze.

The 2024 season of the Castle Lager Premiership season is set to kick off on 24 February with the first round of matches being preceded by the Castle Challenge Cup match between league champions Ngezi Platinum Stars and Chibuku Super Cup winners Dynamos.
