Triple burial at the heroes acre set for Monday

ZANU PF have confirmed that there will be a triple burial of national heroes, Comrade Nash Nyasha Dzimiri, Brigadier General Shadreck Vezha and heroine Cde Tsitsi Grace Jadagu at the National Heroes Acre this coming Monday.

The scheduling of the burials to Monday, also came as a way to avoid the clashing of the burials with ZITF.

Speaking at a press briefing after the Politburo session, Zanu PF National Spokesperson Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa said the burials will be on Monday because now there are two heroes and a heroine so there is need to organise properly and coordinate the families adding that there is need to grant the two heroes and heroine a proper burial, with due attendance by the people of Zimbabwe.

“The burial of the three national heroes shall be on Monday. Given that there will be need to consult the 3 families and to organise the burial arrangements, President Mnangagwa has seen it fit to have the burial on Monday, where there will be due attendance considering that ZITF will have concluded also,” said Mutsvangwa.

Cde Dzimiri died on April 16 after a short illness while Brigadier General Vezha died in a road traffic accident on the same day. Cde Jadagu succumbed to a short illness on April 18.
