Warriors fullback Devine Lunga remains a concern for Jairos Tapera’s side after the defender suffered an ankle injury in the CAF 2026 World cup qualifiers 2 nil defeat to Lesotho on Friday.
Lunga is being further assessed by the medical team after the defender had scans conducted in Johannesburg on Saturday and will have to pass a fitness test ahead of tommorow’s game.
Meanwhile Ngezi Platinum stars midfielder Richard Hachiro joined up with the squad yesterday to replace injured Brendon Galloway.
Zimbabwe will face South Africa today at Free State stadium at 6pm in a do or die fixture which is a must win game for the warriors if they are to remain in contention to secure qualification for the 2026 world cup.
