Matabeleland South Province mourns the loss of one of its longest-serving chiefs, Chief Malaba of Kezi, who passed away on Saturday at Tshelanyemba Hospital at the age of 86.
According to Matobo District Development Coordinator, Mr. Obey Chaputsira, the revered traditional leader, had been installed as substantive chief in 1988, serving his community with dedication and wisdom for over three decades. Chief Malaba’s leadership and contributions to the region will be deeply remembered and honored.
His passing marks a significant loss for the community, and condolences pour in for his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
