ZACC Launches Investigation into Wicknell Chivhayo and Associates

The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) has announced an investigation into allegations of money laundering and abuse of office involving prominent businessman Wicknell Chivhayo and his associates, Messrs. Mpofu and Chimombe.

According to a statement released by ZACC, the investigation was prompted by a contractual dispute and audio recordings that have come to light, which mention a controversial “Presidential Goats Scheme”.

The Commission believes these matters fall under its mandate and will be conducting interviews with the individuals involved to gather more information.

The investigation is ongoing, and ZACC has urged anyone with relevant information to come forward.
