Highlanders Royal suffer 3-1 defeat against Black Mambas

Highlanders Royals experienced a disappointing loss on their visit to Mkushi Academy in Harare, succumbing 3-1 to Black Mambas in a match that was played over the weekend.

The home team, Black Mambas, controlled the game from start to finish, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime and adding two more goals in the second half to secure a 3-1 victory. Although Praise Siwawa’s 66th-minute goal offered a glimmer of hope for Highlanders Royals, it was too little, too late, as the damage had already been done.

Herentals suffered a setback as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Correctional Queens, allowing Chapungu Queens to capitalize on the opportunity. Chapungu Queens’ 1-0 victory over Hope Academy propelled them to the top of the table, two points clear off Herentals.
