Prophet Passion Java has filed fraud charges against his former friends and business associates, Mike Chimombe and Moses Mpofu.

The charges stem from a $300,000 investment Java made in Chimombe’s company, Juluka Project and Plant Hire, in June, under the impression that it would secure a $9 million Harare City street light tender.

However, Java discovered that fake tender documents had been submitted, prompting him to fly from the United States to press charges against Chimombe.

Chimombe and Mpofu are already facing charges related to the embezzlement of $87 million from the Presidential Goat Pass-On Scheme, with their trial set for October 4.
