Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has arrived in New Delhi to attend the 19th CII India-Africa Business Conclave, a premier event fostering economic cooperation between India and Africa.
The conclave brings together esteemed leaders, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders to explore collaborative opportunities and strengthen bilateral ties.
During the event, Vice President Chiwenga is scheduled to address three key sessions, sharing insights on Zimbabwe’s investment landscape and engaging with Indian business leaders to discuss potential partnerships.
Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to India, Stella Nkomo, highlighted the significance of Vice President Chiwenga’s participation, emphasizing the country’s commitment to deepening economic relations with India.
India has emerged as a major investor in Africa, with over US$73 billion invested between 1996 and 2021, ranking among the top five investors on the continent.
