Authorities are currently working on identifying victims of the tragic Mzansi Express bus accident that recently occurred along the N1 freeway in Makhado, Limpopo claiming the lives of 10 people.

The Mzansi Express bus, en route from Bulawayo to Johannesburg, overturned after the new driver, unfamiliar with the route, oversped and lost control.

Five females and five males tragically passed away, while several others were injured and rushed to nearby hospitals in Makhado and Elim. The bus was carrying 67 passengers, and authorities are working tirelessly to identify all passengers, both injured and deceased, before notifying next of kin members.

As the investigation into the accident continues, Mzansi Express management has issued a statement requesting patience and understanding during this difficult time. They cited that the company is cooperating fully with law enforcement and health service providers to ensure that all passengers receive the necessary care and support.
