ZRP and Catholic Church Join Forces To Combat Crime

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) and the Catholic Church are set to launch a collaborative initiative aimed at combating crime in Bulawayo. . The Police Church Partnership will be officially launched on October 1st at Bulawayo City Hall.

In a press release, Archbishop of Bulawayo Alex Thomas highlighted the significance of this partnership in creating a safer community. He expressed optimism that the initiative will have a positive impact on the city.

The ZRP and the Catholic Church will work together to engage with local communities, raise awareness about crime prevention, and promote social cohesion. A system for reporting crimes and ensuring timely action will also be established.

This partnership is particularly crucial given the growing concerns about crime among Zimbabwe’s youth. By combining their efforts, the ZRP and the Catholic Church hope to address these issues and create a more secure and supportive environment for all citizens.
