Msiz’kay, Luchi Tshiki, Ladee, and Bryce DJ Klasiq Set to Light Up Taste the Music: Ja’Dijo Edition

Bulawayo is gearing up to host “Taste the Music” this Friday at Ja’Dijo.
The event is aimed at promoting Bulawayo based artists and proving to the world that Bulawayo can produce good artists who create great music. The event will feature artists like Kinah the music, Msiz’kay, Luchi Shiki, La Dee, and Bryce Dj Klasiq. Botswana based dj Kusterr will make an appearance as well.
Speaking in an interview,Sizalobuhle Nkomo,popularly known as Msiz’kay said that Bulawayo artists deserve a chance to get their talents seen not only by those who will be at the show but the whole world.
“I feel like we don’t have enough well captured performances by local artists that are put up online. So the main reason for us to do this show is yes to showcase to the crowd that will come to the show on the day. But also what we want to do is capture local acts, “said Msiz’kay.
People are enticed by music from Harare and even other countries, forgtting the gems created here in Bulawayo. The show is a chance for Bulawayo to show that it can compete on greater stages.
“We want to capture local acts for crowd who will put that up online so that everyone else who are elsewhere will be able fo see that local acts actually rock stages and acts actually as have a following can come to the show and see the acts themselves. We want to share that, “said Msiz’kay.
The event will start at 5:30 pm and end at 9:30 pm on Friday at Ja’Dijo between 10th and 11th Avenue along Robert Mugabe Street. People are encouraged to come and watch their favourite artists in action and also support upcoming artists.
