Bulawayo Mayor Mourns Highlanders CEO Sihlangu Dlodlo

The Bulawayo Mayor, Senator David Coltart has mourned the death of Highlanders Chief Executive Officer Sihlangu Dlodlo.

The 60-year-old was found deceased at his Nketa 9 home on Monday.

In a statement shared on the Bulawayo City Council’s official social media platforms, Coltart conveyed his sympathy to the Dlodlo family and the nation, highlighting Dlodlo’s significant contributions to football in Bulawayo and Zimbabwe at large. Citing that his dedication and leadership at Highlanders Football Club left a lasting impact, inspiring many within the sporting community.

The Mayor also extended the local authority’s support to Highlanders FC, its players, and supporters, acknowledging Dlodlo’s legacy and the role he played in strengthening the local football scene. Further emphasizing the council’s solidarity with the club and the wider football fraternity as they honor Dlodlo’s memory and the enduring influence he leaves behind.
