Asaph drops Gospel-Inspired Track

Multi-award-winning hip-hop sensation Asaph has released a gospel-inspired track titled “Blessed are the Shooters” which coincides with his birthday.

Commenting on the title of the song, Asaph shared insights about its content, stating that it expresses his thoughts and feelings.

“It’s a gospel-inspired track where I’m being completely honest about my experiences. I talk about the hip-hop industry, my challenges with my former label, and the importance of family. It’s a very personal and authentic reflection of who I am as an artist, ” Asaph stated.

He also revealed the reason for the release date, emphasizing that it aligns with his birthday which is on the 11th of January.

Asaph who has a tradition of dropping something special on his big day, vowed to continue this blessed series every year.

“Releasing music on my birthday is special to me. Last year, I dropped ‘Lord if you Bless Me’ featuring Saint Flow. This year, it’s ‘Blessed are the Shooters.’ I’m committed to this ‘blessed series’ – expect a new song with a ‘blessed’ theme every January 11th from now on,” he said.

Produced by Calvin-Made-It and engineered by Portland, the new song is accompanied by a visualizer, providing fans with something to watch while enjoying the music.

Born Tafadzwa Tarukwana, Asaph is an artist who uses hip-hop to showcase his talent and represent Bulawayo on a world stage. He had the opportunity to tour the United States last year through the Next Level Global Hip-Hop Exchange Program and is the European Union’s Green and Gender Campaign ambassador.
