English Premier League side Wolverhampton wanderers has completed the signing of Zimbabwe international Marshall Munetsi on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

The 28-year-old midfielder joins from French club Reims, where he made 159 appearances across all competitions, scoring 21 goals in the process.

Munetsi’s contract includes a 12-month option, and he reunites with former Reims teammate Emmanuel Agbadou, who also joined Wolves in January. The Zimbabwean midfielder is known for his versatility and goal-scoring ability from midfield, having hit double figures for goal involvements in the 2022/23 season.

This season Munetsi had already been involved in 6 goals for Reims where he scored 2 and assisted 4 for the French outfit.

Munetsi has captained both Reims and Zimbabwe, showcasing his leadership qualities. His move to Molineux is expected to bolster Wolves’ midfield options as they battle to survive relegation from the top flight.
