President Emmerson Mnangagwa to Meet War Vets

The President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, President Emmerson Mnangagwa is set to meet up with War Veterans on the 30th of May 2025.
According to the Presidential Empowerment Fund Initiative, the meet up is a follow up of the Presidential War Veterans Fund which has been being launched across the 10 provinces of the country with each being injected with 150 000 US dollars.
The Initiative àlso revealed that it has decided to add an additional 350 000 per province ontop of the 150 000 US dollars.
So far Provinces that have received the Fund include Bulawayo, Matebeleland North, Mashonaland East, Harare and Mashonaland West. The Presidential War Veterans Fund is part of government’s efforts to empower those who fought in the liberation struggle with interest free loans, 3 bedroomed houses and solar powered boreholes so as to make sure they live modernized lives.
