Prominent businessman Wicknell Chivayo has rewarded contemporary music superstar Jah Prayzah, real name Mukudzeyi Mukombe, with a brand-new 2025 Range Rover Autobiography and US$150,000 in cash following the successful launch of his latest album, Ndini Mukudzei.
The album launch, held at Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare, drew thousands of fans and reaffirmed Jah Prayzah’s standing as one of Zimbabwe’s most influential artists.
In a heartfelt tribute shared on social media, Chivayo praised Jah Prayzah’s artistic journey and his consistent delivery of music that blends tradition with modernity.
“There can only be one master of the craft. One exceptional talent. One phenomenal musician of our time,” wrote Chivayo. “You blend traditional music with our culture and heritage, giving it a contemporary sound that transcends generations and unites Zimbabweans from every walk of life.”
He celebrated the artist’s evolution from his early hits Ndinotsvaga Mariah, Gochi Gochi, and Mdara Vachauya, to the national anthem Kutonga Kwaro, noting Jah Prayzah’s ability to reinvent himself while maintaining artistic integrity.
“You have set yourself apart. You’ve joined the league of legends and earned your place in the hall of fame by composing songs with the deepest meaning. Songs that make every listener, whether a fan or critic, reflect deeply on their own life and challenge themselves to be better,” said Chivayo.
In honour of the singer’s accomplishments, Chivayo confirmed the gift of a luxury vehicle and a significant cash reward.
“As I promised before and in celebration of your unstoppable progress and the major success of the Ndini Mukudzei launch, please go and see Victor at Exquisite Motors. Your brand new 2025 Range Rover Autobiography is fully paid for and ready for collection,” he said.
“In addition, please collect your US$150,000 in cash. This is just a small token of my gratitude for your immense contribution to Zimbabwean music.”
Chivayo also extended appreciation to the Third Generation Band for their artistry, and encouraged Jah Prayzah to continue carrying the Zimbabwean flag with pride.
“May you continue to shine, inspire, and carry the Zimbabwean flag higher. A GOAT like you deserves to drive nothing but the highest luxury,” he added.
Ndini Mukudzei has been praised for its depth, musical richness, and strong cultural identity, hallmarks of Jah Prayzah’s musical journey.
