War Veteran Blessed Geza Dies in SA

Prominent Zimbabwean war veteran Blessed Runesu Geza, popularly known as Cde Bombshell, has died in South Africa, the Geza family confirmed.

In a statement, the Geza family said he died this morning at a cardiac hospital in South Africa.

Geza had been living outside the country since February last year and was known for publicly calling for President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s resignation, citing corruption and human rights concerns.

The family described him as a fearless advocate for justice and urged the public to ignore fraudulent fundraising campaigns linked to his death. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.

The government has not yet commented.
