Final Mighty Warriors Squad Named for CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers

The final Mighty Warriors squad has been announced for the crucial CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2026 Qualifiers, where Zimbabwe will face Angola in the first round this February.
Coach Sithethelelwe Sibanda has included some exciting additions to the squad, notably Australia-based forward Yolanda Kanyai, and the Israeli-based duo of Emmaculate Msipa and Ruvimbo Mucherera. Also making a welcome return to the national team is striker Rutendo Makore, after a long absence.
Here is the full squad list. Amongst the goalkeepers there is Vanessa Lunga, Precious Mudyiwa and Lindiwe Magwede. In the defence department there is Egness Tumbare, Sheila Antonio, Purity Mugayi, Nobukhosi Ncube, Alice Moyo and Fortunate Ngocho.
The midfield will have Daisy Kaitano, Morelife Nyagumbo, Ennetty Chemhere, Natasha Ndowa, Danai Bhobho, Emmaculate Msipa, Mavis Chirandu and Shyline Dambamuromo
The attacking position will have Christabel Katona, Rutendo Makore, Ethel Chinyerere, Yolanda Kanyai and Ruvimbo Mucherera.
