Highlanders F.C Assistant Coach Antonio Torres , Strikers Lynoth Chikuwa and Stanley Ngala recognise the magnitude of the job ahead of them as they travel to the capital this Saturday to face Black Rhinos football club in their second match of the season, which opened with a home draw against ZPC Kariba.

Bosso will have to forget about last season’s opening, a 2 nil loss to Black Rhinos.

Torres said they are aware of the type of game they play, but need to focus on themselves and be ready in all areas in case the opposition changes tactics.

“Black Rhinos is not an easy team they are strong team which plays direct football with the first and the second balls , but focus on them . If we prepare a team just for the opponents and we arrive on the day of the game to find they have changed everything then we will not be prepared for the game .What is important is what we are capable of doing on the field”, said Torres.

Stanely Ngala stated that he is conscious of his responsibilities as a striker, which is to score goals if the team is to have a better start to the season, whilst Lynoth Chikuwa stated that goals may come from anyone on the team , everything is a team effort.

“My job as a stricker is to score but for now as a team we are preparing for a good start. The previous year we did not start well but this time we need to start well”.

Meanwhile Ray Lunga suffured an injury in training and will be assessed to determine if he is fit to travel, while new kid on the block Clive Chigonero will have to wait a bit longer after contracting the flu with the team doctors advising him against joining the travelling squad.
