Raza named captain of St Lucia Kings

Zimbabwean all rounder Sikandar Raza has been named the new captain of Carribean Premier League cricket side Saint Lucia Kings for the current ongoing season following an injury to club’s skipper Faf Du Plessis.

Raza who is joined up by fellow national teammate star Sean Williams at the club, will lead the club’s toss starting this coming Sunday when they face Barbados Royals in one of their difficult encounters of the season so far.

Saint Lucia Kings are currently ontop of the Carribean Premier League after 5 games played so far in the season and they have lost only once winning twice and other encounters ended in ties.

Onother Zimbabwean currently playing his trade in the league is Blessing Muzarabhani who plays for bottom side St Kitts and Nevis Patriots which are still yet to record a win in the league so far.
