Zim Embraces Digital Era: E-Passport Offices Open in UK, Computerized Systems to Enhance Efficiency

Zimbabweans in the UK will soon have access to e-passport offices, Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Minister Kazembe Kazembe has shared.

Citing that Government’s move is part of its Integrated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Systems Strategy to computerize government departments.

The strategy aims to enhance efficiency, reduce corruption, and improve revenue collection. The computerized systems will also integrate police information, including crime management, traffic management, and border control, allowing for seamless information sharing and improved service delivery.
