Police seek public’s assistance in investigating discarded newborn case

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) in Bulawayo is urging the public to come forward with any information regarding the recent discovery of a discarded newborn baby boy at the Long Distance Bus Terminus dumping site in Renkin.

On the 28th of August the lifeless body of the infant was found, prompting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

In a recent statement the ZRP said they are committed to thoroughly investigating these cases and ensuring that those responsible are brought to justice. Citing that the public’s assistance is crucial in providing leads and helping authorities piece together the events leading up to these heartbreaking incidents.

Anyone with information is encouraged to report to their nearest police station, contributing to the pursuit of justice for these vulnerable victims.
