A family in Emakhandeni suburb is appealing to the public for help in finding their 18-year-old daughter, Chelsea Tigere, who went missing on Friday, 1 November 2024.
Chelsea’s sister, Shamiso Tigere, told SkyzMetro FM that she believes Chelsea may have voluntarily left home.
“She has disappeared before and that was last year. When we found her, she was staying with friends and we also think that this time she is also with friends”, said Shamiso Tigere
She added that the family has reported her disappearance to the police, who advised them to share their plea on social media to reach a wider audience.
“We have reached out to the police, and they said we should post on social media because it looks like she’s someone who is just around and wants to live her own life and we should find out from her friends about her whereabouts” added Shamiso.
Chelsea is a student at Lisane School of Excellence, located in the Entumbane Complex. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a sky-blue shirt, gray skirt, and school shoes. The family urges anyone with information on Chelsea’s whereabouts to contact Shamiso Tigere at 0786532332.
