Radar Properties hosted a successful property fair on Saturday at their Kingsbury Estate in Bulawayo, where 55 landowners received their long-awaited title deeds.

This event marked a significant milestone for homeowners in the area, providing them with the official documentation needed to affirm ownership of their purchased land and comfortably proceed with construction on their new properties.

During the event, Radar Properties Managing Director Mr. Walter Zimunya addressed attendees, highlighting the company’s ambitious plan to develop 10,000 residential stands as part of the King City project.

He emphasized that this initiative aligns with the National Development Strategy 1 (NDS1) and Vision 2030, which aim to address the country’s housing backlog.

“The plan is to obtain 10,000 residential stands; to date, we have completed 1,000. All our stands that we developed have title deeds. Today we are giving out 55 title deeds.

“As we give title deeds, we are feeding into the national project programs like the presidency directive that aims to deliver one million title deeds. We are playing our part in reducing the housing backlog, for example, Bulawayo has a housing backlog of more than 120,000,” Zimunya explained.

The distribution of title deeds is part of a broader commitment by Radar Properties to enhance housing security for residents and contribute to national efforts to improve living conditions.

Homeowners expressed their excitement and relief at finally receiving their titles, which empower them to begin the construction of their homes.

The property fair also featured over 25 exhibitors from both Bulawayo and Harare, showcasing a diverse array of construction products and services.

Among the exhibitors was Mr. Collen Mugwagwa, Sales Supervisor at Masters Paint and Hardware in Bulawayo. He expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to connect with prospective clients.

“Today we are at King City, where we are showcasing our products. We really appreciate the opportunity given to us by the organizers, as they made it easy for us to reach a wider range of audiences and the homeowners here. We hope that in the future we can have more of these initiatives to showcase our products and make our brands known.”, said Mugwagwa

Radar Properties, a prominent real estate developer based in Bulawayo, serves as the property development and management arm of Radar Holding Limited. The company currently oversees more than 2,100 hectares of urban land in Bulawayo, under development as part of the King City project, which aims to provide affordable housing solutions and improve the quality of life for residents in the region.
