Fatal Accident on Bulawayo-Beitbridge Road Claims Two Lives

A tragic road accident occurred early this morning along the Bulawayo-Beitbridge Road in Makhado, resulting in the loss of two lives and leaving one person injured.

According to a report by the Zimbabwe Republic Police, the accident took place around 00:30 at the 227-kilometer peg. The incident involved an Irizar Mtethi bus, which was carrying two passengers. The bus struck a donkey, causing it to veer off the road and collide head-on with a Toyota Fortuner vehicle that had one passenger.

The impact of the collision was severe, leading to the deaths of two individuals. The bodies of the victims were taken to Beitbridge Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination, while the injured passenger was admitted to the same hospital for treatment.
