President Mnangagwa Swears in New Commissioners

President Emmerson Mnangagwa today presided over the swearing-in of new commissioners at State House in Harare, marking key appointments to strengthen Zimbabwe’s governance framework.

The new members of the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services Commission include Simon Madzimure, Albert Mandinika, Rosemary Nyamweda Kanonge, Sternly Kandongwe, Chipo Mandela, and Utloile Silaigwana.

Further appointments included Martin Muduva as the new Zimbabwe Human Rights Commissioner and Kudakwashe Christopher Muchena as the Zimbabwe Independent Complaints Commissioner.

These appointments are expected to bolster the nation’s human rights and correctional services frameworks, underscoring the government’s commitment to enhancing governance and accountability.
