President Mnangagwa swears in new officials

President Emmerson Mnangagwa yesterday sworn into office several new officials at the State House in Harare.

The new appointees include Adelis Sibutha as Commissioner of the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission, Ozias Evans Muchaya Hove as Commissioner of the Zimbabwean Land Commission, and Palmer Guwuriro as Chief Magistrate of the Judicial Services Commission.

Additionally, Deputy Ministers Honourable Albert Mawunga and Honourable Caleb Makwiranzou took oath of office, assuming their roles in the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works and Ministry of Mines and Mining Development, respectively. Honourable Itayi Ndudzo was also sworn in as Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Mashonaland East Province.

These appointments are expected to play key roles in shaping the country’s future, with the new officials bringing diverse expertise and experience to their respective positions.
