ZERA Announces New Fuel Prices for April 2025

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has released the updated fuel prices for April, which will remain in effect until 4 May 2025.
According to ZERA’s official statement, the new prices will see Diesel 50 costing ZWG 10.65 per liter or US$1.52 per liter while Blend E5 will be priced at ZWG 10.92 per liter or US$1.53 per liter.
ZERA has confirmed that the blending ratio for petrol is set at E5. However, the regulatory body also clarified that fuel operators are permitted to sell petroleum products at prices lower than the prescribed rates, depending on their individual trading advantages.
To ensure transparency and consumer awareness, ZERA has mandated that all fuel stations prominently display the official fuel prices, in accordance with fuel pricing regulations.
